Immigration

Immigration is the movement of people into one place from another.  is often highly politicized, and in some countries, a major political issue.  is seen as altering the ethnic and cultural composition of the national population, and consequently the national character.  polices which selectively grant
freedom of movement to targeted individuals are intended to produce a net economic gain for the host country.
Immigration to the United States of America is the movement of non-residents to the United States.

Illegal Immigration

Illegal refers to across national borders in a way that violates the laws of the destination country.  Illegal household members from Mexico alone were estimated at over 8 million.  Illegal immigrants were repatriated initially through Presidio because the Mexican city across the border, Ojinaga, had rail connections to the interior of Mexico by which workers could be quickly moved on to Durango.  Illegal may be as high as 1,500,000 per year with a net of at least 700,000 illegal immigrants arriving each year to join the 12,000,000 to 20,000,000 that are already here.  Illegal has recently resurfaced as a major political issue.  Illegal immigrants who

settle their cases by agreeing to voluntarily depart sometimes then gain extra time inside the United States by filing a procedural motion to reopen the case.  Illegal immigrants in the long-run become productive citizens and pay their fair share of taxes.  ILLEGAL is a sticky problem for democrats because 70% of voters are against amnesty and priviledges for ILLEGAL immigrants, and democrats must somehow hide their plans to open our borders and give them voting rights so they have 20 million more poor uneducated democrat voters who want FREE healthcare and welfare priviledges.

Legal Immigration

Legal immigrants to the United States are at their highest level ever at over 35,000,000.  Legal has
evolved today into a highly-regulated system that allows American families to sponsor close relatives and employers to hire immigrants with important skills. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the
same rules and waiting periods.

Immigration Visa

There are many different kinds of visas.  The Federal government already denies visas to known members of certain gangs from China, the former Soviet Union, and El Salvador. New sources of data will include cross-checks of visa and passport information. is seen as altering the ethnic and cultural composition of the national population, and consequently the national character.  records provide data on since 1830.  restrictions laws passed in the 1920s tried to achieve four
goals: reduce drastically the number of unskilled immigrants; favor uniting of families by giving preferences
to relatives; keeping the ethnic distribution stable by allocating quotas to various ethnic groups; with no quotas
initially set for Mexico and Latin America because of the ongoing Mexican Revolution.  (migration to a country) is one component of international migration; the other component is emigration (migration from a country).
